History of FGV
The Getúlio Vargas Foundation emerged on December 20, 1944. Its initial objective was to prepare qualified personnel for the public and private administration of the country. At that time, Brazil was already beginning to lay the foundations for the growth that would be confirmed in the following decades.
The institution went beyond the frontiers of teaching and advanced in the areas of research and the principles of information, being today followed by several other Universities abroad.
